Each school year, 5th and 6th Graders learn about the election process as we do our student council elections. Students must circulate petitions, write campaign speeches, design campaign posters, and all students vote by secret ballot.  Once officers are elected for the school year, meetings are held regularly. The Elementary Student Council plans and implements various projects/activities throughout the year. Recent projects included raising money for the JM Relay for Life Team, collecting donations for St. Jude Children's Hospital, and a donation drive for the Greene County Humane Society.
