I am Kristen Monahan and I am the K-2 Life Learning Support Teacher here @ Jefferson Morgan.

I started my journey here at the school in January of 2017. This 2019-2020 school year is my fourth year in the JM School district.

 

A little bit about me...

I was born and raised in Uniontown, PA. After high school I attended California University of PA and graduated with a dual degree in Early Childhood and Special Education in May of 2012. In May of 2013 I got married and my husband's job had us move out to Las Vegas, NV. I taught 1st grade for 3 years in Nevada! It was such a great experience.

My husband and I moved back to our hometown of Uniontown in June of 2016. I now have two children, a son who just turned three and a daughter who is turning one in April.

 

My classroom and students are a very special part of my life and I love being apart of these children's every day adventures!
