Please make sure all work is completed by May 29th.  You can continue to turn in your packets via email at [email protected] or by printing them and taking them to the school during the designated hours.  

Hey everybody!  We're in the home stretch.  Attached is the document for your STEM FIDS, Days 24-29.  We're going to take a further look at how energy flows through an ecosystem.  Please keep in mind that organisms rely on other organisms and a great deal of non-living things in order to survive and thrive in their ecosystems.  These things interact with each other and have a purpose. 

 

Again, if you need something to do on these rainy days, be sure to login to your EVERFI (www.everfi.net) Hockey Scholar and CODE.org (www.code.org) accounts for STEM.

Hey 5th grade! I missed you all this week! I hope you’re all taking advantage of these FIDS. Please remember, Friday 3-20 and Monday 3-23 are “catch-up” days. There will not be any FID assignments on those days. I will post next Tuesday-Thursday assignments for both STEM and Social Studies on Monday.

Study Guides and extra practice for Tuesday 3-10 Test on Simple Machines went home today! Please have your students bring the material back to class each day so we can go over answers and keep practicing for the remainder of the week.

We will have a test on Monday, Jan. 27.  This will include the vocabulary from our STEM Investigation 1 on Levers and other simple machines.  Students should have brought home a study guide on Weds. 1-22 and have another copy in their notebooks in the classroom.  I attached a 3rd copy here for your convenience.

I also included another copy of the study in case the students lost their original copy. 

Attached are the Chapter 1 Outline Book that students completed in class.  Also, is a complete copy of the study guide for Monday, October 28th's Chapter 1 Biology Test.  We completed the study guide in class as a "Scavenger Hunt" and went over the answers together on 10-23-19.
